STEM Cohort Programs


We offer a suite of 3 fully online MEd programs focused on STEM:

  • Master of Education in Science Education
  • Master of Education in Mathematics Education
  • Master of Education in Media and Technology Studies Education

STEM electives across Cohorts

Each program offers high quality professional development that connects and integrates with the busy life of working educators in a diversity of STEM-based fields and contexts. Each MEd program offers discipline-focused courses, as well as common courses across the three programs. There is also an opportunity to take STEM electives within the Cluster, across the University, and at other recognized universities across Canada.

Leadership roles in the field of STEM

Through the pursuit of individual and collective interests, graduate students will develop and enhance their knowledge and practice of STEM education. Students will also be equipped to advance the quality of STEM education and assume leadership roles in the field. These fully online graduate programs are ideal for educators in rural and remote areas, and also for those who prefer flexibility in their working week to engage in graduate studies.
