Next Steps & FAQs

To register in courses offered for credit you must be admitted to the UBC Faculty of Education, Vancouver campus, or to apply for re-admission if you were previously a student here.

Some programs listed are offered by UBC-Okanagan Faculty of Education. For information on these programs contact Karen Ragoonaden, Summer Institute in Education Coordinator, UBC-O Faculty of Education.

Some UBC courses offer non-credit registration to enable practicing professionals to participate in programs without applying for admission, or re-admission, to UBC.

For participants wishing to register as a non-credit participant for any course or program, we recommend you review the Non-Credit Registration FAQs.

For current tuition information please refer to the UBC Calendar.

Non-Credit Fees

Some programs offer non-credit registration, in which case the tuition fees will be posted on the program webpage.

All courses are subject to minimum enrollment requirements. If UBC cancels the course, course fees will be reimbursed. For student cancellations in credit courses the UBC policy will apply. For non-credit registrations, see the program webpage.

Tuition Fee Certificates

Current UBC students may use Tuition Fee Certificates toward tuition or non-credit fees. The certificates do not cover the cost of course materials, texts, or other fees. Contact Professional Development & Community Engagement for more information: 604.822.2013 |

If you are registering for non-credit, please ensure you enter your Tuition Fee Certificate information as requested on the non-credit registration form.
